| Lone Star's Texas Red |
2 Tbs. oil
2 lbs.. stewing beef, cubed
1 cup onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (12 ounce) can tomato paste
2 1/2 cups water
2 canned jalapenos, seeded and chopped
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. cumino
Brown beef in oil. Add onions, bell pepper and garlic. Sauté
for
5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 2 hours
or until
meat is tender. |
