| Shaun Murphy's Home Sweet Hot Texas Chili |
11/2 LB. 'Chili Grind' ground sirloin, or hamburger
2 onions, chopped
2 tsp. cumin
5 tbsp. chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2-4 oz. green chilies, chopped
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
2-3 tbsp. sugar
1 large can of tomato sauce
1 can of pinto beans (opt.)
1/4 cup taco sauce of choice
1/2 cup water
1 can Campbell's beef broth, undiluted
Brown the beef and onions, drain. Then add all remaining
ingredients and
simmer 1-2 hours, covered. Stirring occasionally.
Makes 4 to 6 servings
